First Friday, January 6
There will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament all day. Exposition
will be right after the morning Mass; Benediction will be at 6:40 pm and
will be followed by Holy Mass at 7:00 pm. Everyone is encouraged to sign-up
for the Adoration - sign-up sheets are in the Church foyer on New Year’s
day.

Parish must be received by the office on or before Dec. 31, 2011 to
be eligible for a tax receipt.

Any change in your information (e.g.
new address) should be written on a form available in the Church
foyer; the form must then be submitted to the parish office by
dropping it in the collection basket or by mail. PLEASE DO NOT JUST
WRITE THE INFORMATION ON YOUR SUNDAY ENVELOPE.

Supporter Appreciation Night
Experience the impact that your prayers and financial support have had on
the lives of young people. Five hundred students from all across Canada,
will be gathered in Vancouver for this year’s Catholic Christian Outreach
Rise Up National Conference and all are invited to witness part of this
powerful event. Event is scheduled on Dec. 30 at Hyatt Regency Vancouver.

Devoutly Religious and Critically Scientific - Can You Be Both?
A presentation by St. Mark's Continuing Education - Is it possible to be
devoutly religious and critically scientific? Fr. John McCarthy, S.J. will
claim that you can. However, the popular voice still speaks of the conflict
between science and religion, as if two solitudes exist that will never
meet. Join as this assumption is
examined and learn the Catholic view of science and faith. St. Joseph the

Christmas Celebrations at “The Door is Open”
There is “room at the inn” for all who come to The Door is Open – thanks to
generous donations. A gift of $40 funds the drop-in centre for one hour, $25

The World Day of Migrants and Refugees
World Day of Migrants and Refugees will begin Jan. 9 with a week of prayer
and reflection, culminating Sunday, Jan. 15, with a special Mass celebrated
